ABOUT US : Accreditations

Robertson Building Systems adheres to intensive, on-going quality and inspection programs.

All Robertson building components are designed or checked by Licensed Professional Engineers, registered in Canada or the United States.

Robertson building components are designed and manufactured under quality standard CAN/CSA-A660 in IAS AC472 accredited facilities. Audits include items such as personnel, design and engineering, materials control, fabrication and plant quality programs to ensure conformance to approved construction documents and standards referenced in building codes.

Robertson welding standards are in accordance with CSA Standard W59-03 Welded Steel Construction and American Standard – AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel. Our components are also certified to a variety of Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM) standards.

Robertson Building Systems is a member of the Canadian Sheet Steel Building Institute (CSSBI) and the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA).

Robertson is actively involved with organizations like American Institute of Steel Construction Inc. (AISC), Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC), Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), National Research Council of Canada (NRC), and Project Management Institute (PMI).
