Retro-R® panels allow the existing roof to stay in place during installation, saving on labor costs while minimizing the chance for water entry into the building and providing a safer working environment. Existing roof-top equipment, vents or light-transmitting panels can all be accommodated by the Retro-R system; it offers a vapor barrier via Drip Stop membrane and the specially designed profile protects the bottom of the panel from purlin screw heads. Since the existing R panel roof can be used as decking, and no tear-off is required, there’s no interruption to business operations and construction waste is considerably reduced.
